On November 17th, Space with a Soul is hosting the area's first ever Rock Band tournament. That's right. A large screen. Scrolling dots. Dozens of favorite songs you wish you knew how to play for real. But, man, can you make some sweet, sweet music with those multicolored buttons!
Test your metal (See what we did there? Rockin’ pun totally intended.) against your neighbors. Bring yourself, 1 to 4 co-workers, friends, fellow travelers, or anyone who might be interested in finding out how we roll in the Innovation District. (In case you're wondering, we turn it up to 11. Always. Because 11 is louder than 10.)
Not a rocker, but still want to rock your body? Rather bust a move than bust your eardrums? If you can’t play, dance the night away. There will also be a Dance Central competition for those who rather compete with their feet than their fingers and a fret board.
Food, adult beverages, and 100% of the recommended daily allowance of rock and roll will be provided to winners, losers, and groupies alike. (Individual bowls for different M&M colors cannot be guaranteed.)
What about prizes, you ask? Oh, there will be prizes, provided by our rockin' sponsor Harmonix. Some for best music. Some for best hair. Some for best style. Some for least style. Get your game face on. It's go time.
